How to travel to Beitostølen

It is easy to get to Beitostølen by both car and bus throughout the year!
Always check the timetable and departure and arrival times with the bus company.
If you drive an electric car, there are many charging stations at Beitostølen.

NEWS! VY-EXPRESSEN
Expands its offer with: VY450 with daily departures between
Oslo, Fagernes and Bergen, as well as Oslo, Fagernes and Beitostølen.
Vy runs all departures between Oslo and Beitostølen with double-deckers. The buses are equipped with toilets, seat belts, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and charging sockets at each seat. In the front seats on the top floor, you can enjoy a fantastic panoramic view.

Lillehammer via Fagernes, with correspondence to Beitostølen.

CAR
For those arriving by car from Oslo, Gardermoen or Bergen, the  easiest option is to choose the E16  via Hønefoss. From Lillehammer you drive to Valdres on Fv250/Rv33, from Gjøvik on Rv33 and from Gol on Fv 51, which also continues over the  National Tourist Route Valdresflye  to Beitostølen. (Closed for winter following Beitostølen to Vågå).

If you come with an electric car, we have plenty of charging stations:

  • 10 charging electric car parking spaces at the Radisson
    (both at the car park opposite Huset s&b and in the backyard.)
  • 2 charging station at Huset steaks&bones
  • 9 Tesla fast charging stations at the garden side of the hotel
  • Two charging stations at Gjestegaarden
  • Two Kople charging stations at the end of the Bergo building
  • 10 units at the Spar car park. (Fast chargers, both indoors and outdoors.)

Parking overview for Beitostølen:

You can park for two hours for free at Beitostølen Resort’s car parks in the center of Beitostølen. Thereafter, the price will be NOK 20 per hour, or NOK 75 per day.

In the largest car park below the Radisson hotel, there will be three hours of free parking. Thereafter, the price will be NOK 20 per hour, or NOK 50 per day.

There will be a two-hour parking limit on the square, and the same in the Spar garage. After two hours on the square, the price rises quickly with targets and that there are traders who use these spaces.

At One Park’s parking areas, customers have many possible solutions for payment, via an on-site machine or via an app or online. Our customers can also pay free of charge after the visit both at a payment machine and within 48 hours. HERE AT THE LINK you will find an overview of which payment solutions are available.
