Beitostølen is known for having fun for the WHOLE FAMILY! The slopes here are well prepared for snowboarding, telemark skiing, alpine skiing and airboarding – and great fun for the whole gang: Sledging – on its own slope with a toboggan lift. Adjacent to the varied and fine family slopes is the children’s slope and the children’s lift, as well as a dump run for children, and in our Snowboard park you can test different rails and jumps.
Every year we try to develop and expand the offer and while in 20/21 there were several touch-`nd sound installations (which give you both high fives, cheers and cheers⛷) at the Skjenhaugheseisen (Kjelkeheisen), there are also animal figures in the forest between Barnebakken and Bekkefaret which make noise as you pass. In 21/22, there was a new speedometer in Carlheisbakken in the far west, among other things. Here you can test how fast you can drive, compete against yourself or against others. The BigJump was also bought in and offered great fun.
This year (22/23), the new express lift, Bitihorn Express, is the biggest news. A year-round lift that will take you to the top in 2.5 minutes.
Those looking for greater challenges choose the alpine slopes in Raudalen. You can of course use the same LIFT CARD in Raudalen as in Beitostølen.
In the city center you have many different places to eat and opportunities to replenish your energy. Midway between Stolheisbakken and Bekkefaret, you will find the AASGAARD warming room with delicious food and plenty of space both inside and outside.
