Hiking in the summer

Here you can choose trails in the local area, you can take the chair lift to the top to speed up the start of the tour (or motivate the youngest to join 😉) and you can choose the popular bucket list tours.

Large variations available, such as:

MUGNETIND:
Vidde character, beautiful rivers, mountain lakes, snow areas also in summer. The view at the top is impeccable in all directions. Reindeer are also known to trample past nearby.

BESSEGGEN:
Above Besseggen you are up and sniffing the high mountain in one of Norway’s most famous national parks. A partly steep hike with beautiful lakes in different colours.

BITIHORN:
Bitihorn is the very icon of Beitostølen. From the top, Valdres and Jotunheimen have a lot to show off.

Weasly, but majestic SMØRKOLLEN:
The area’s lightest and cutest little peak – with a superb view up towards the mountain Bitihorn. Length and duration of this small summit hike: Approx. 750 m one way. 5-10 min depending on speed.
