Gjendebåten (Boat Gjende)

Gjende is 984 meters above sea level and has peaks of over 2,000 meters on all sides.

From the dock by Gjendesheim, it only takes 20 minutes by boat before you have Jotunheimen National Park and endless wonderful hikes in front of you.

ARE YOU HIKING BESSEGGEN?
Most people choose the hiking route Besseggen from Memurubu to Gjendesheim. From the pier at Gjendesheim, there are up to seven daily trips to Memurubu (Besseggen) and two to Gjendebu.
